Nouveau Gymnastics School Terms and Conditions 2025
For the purpose of this document Nouveau Gymnastics will be referred to as: NGC Please take your time to read the following Terms & Conditions. It is very important that you understand these Terms & Conditions before you attend Nouveau Theatre School
1. JOINING NGC;
A. registration form must be completed and signed by at least one parent. This form must be returned on the first official lesson after trial lesson,
B. Any medical condition must be disclosed to NTS upon registration and thereafter.
C. It is important that any learning difficulties are disclosed in order for us to provide support and nurture the student.
D. The method of communication by NTS is via email. It is therefore essential that all email addresses are kept up to date.
E. By signing these terms and conditions you are agreeing to receive invoices, newsletters, timetables and general emails from NTS.
F. By signing these terms and conditions you are agreeing for your data to be held on an electronic database, in a contacts file and a paper copy in a secure location.
G. Attendance of any other similar dance/performance school must be disclosed to the Principal upon registration.
H. Prior permission must be sought from any pupil wishing to participate in any external vocational classes, amateur or professional productions, festivals and competitions
2. NGC FEES
A. Fees are taken on the 15th of the month via direct debit. For ease 12 equal payments are taken throughout the year. All holidays and school closures are taken into account in the calculation of payments taken. We operate 52 weeks of the year, your fees are added together and then divided by 52 weeks of the year and then calculated for your monthly fee.
B. Cancellation of classes - You are able to cancel at any time if your child no longer wants to take part in classes with us. You are not locked into large fees or a lengthy contract with NTS. We do require four weeks notice if you choose to cancel so we are able to update our system
C. In the event of your child wanting to change the classes they take part in, please contact us and we can update your monthly payment. There will always be a review period in August for the start of the new academic term in September.
D. Failure to pay fees will result in your child being unable to attend classes at NGC
E. In the event of school closure due to adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances NGC will arrange a refund. We will not hold onto payments.
F. All new students receive a FREE trial class.
G.We do not give refunds of any classes that your child has missed due to illness or holidays.. Any student who has an injury, preventing them from attending classes please contact the Principal directly.
H. Fees are subject to change, NGC will notify you in advance of any increase in fees.
3. ATTENDANCE
A. We ask all those enrolled at NGC to attend their classes regularly. The principal must be notified of an absence via email or text, please do not contact any other member of NGC teaching staff to record your child’s absence. Failure to contact the Principal may lead to the child being unable to be entered into examinations and take part in productions. If your child misses three weeks in a row with no communication they will be removed from our register and classes.
B. Should you wish to cancel your child’s enrollment at NGC, please notify NGC by email. Refunds for the month will not be given.
C. If a student missed 4 consecutive classes and no contact has been made by the parent or guardian the student will be removed from our register and the place will be given to someone on the waiting list. We will always endeavour to make contact prior to this happening
4. USE OF PHOTOGRAPHS & VIDEOS
A. Videos and photos may be taken during class times and performances. Please ensure you have signed the opt “in” or opt “out” section of this on your enrolment form.
B. The use of videos and photos is prohibited from anyone spectating classes. Please respect our safeguarding policy
5. PRODUCTIONS
A. NGC holds a bi-annual show. It is not compulsory to take part, however those taking part will be required to pay a show registration fee of £10.00 payable to the PDTA
B. Throughout the year external performances and competitions will arise. Those wishing to take part may incur additional charges through the production company we are working with.
D. If you wish for your child to take part in external performances costumes will either need to be purchased of hired through the PDTA
7. GENERAL
A.. Pupils are required to attend classes in the correct uniform as our Uniform info
B.. NGC reserves the right to alter the timetable, change venue where applicable, we will try to give you reasonable notice
C.. All uniforms can be ordered directly through our website.E. NGC does not accept any responsibility for lost or damage to property left on the premises
D By enrolling your child into NGC, you accept the above terms and conditions
